Insurance that covers material damages in the home, such as damage caused by floods, fires, explosions, electrical short circuits, breakdowns, glass breakage, theft, or those caused by atmospheric phenomena. It usually includes damages for civil liability, originated by damages or injuries to other people or their property from the policyholder’s home, such as the fall of objects from windows or balconies, or the flooding of a lower floor, among other cases.
